The Ryder Cup starts this Friday at the Marco Simone Golf Club in Rome.
It is set to be an epic showdown as Europe try to win back the trophy from the USA, who triumphed last time at Whistling Straits Golf Club by a comfortable margin of 19-9.
The betting for the event is very tight with Europe having been backed heavily over the last few weeks.
The US are currently best priced at 2.3 with Sporting Index, while Europe are available at 2.1 with Betfred and 10Bet. The draw can be backed at 12.0.
After Europe’s women retained the Solheim Cup last week, Europe’s men will be eager to step up and deliver after the disappointment of two years ago.
Many of Europe’s players come into the event in top form, with experienced Ryder Cuppers like Rory McIlroy, Jon Rahm and Tommy Fleetwood leading the line whilst promising young talents like Ludvig Aberg and Nicolai Hojgaard will be hoping to make successful debuts as rookies.
